Asphalt + me = peace is the creative result of combining two passions. Melissa Murphy-Mento has been designing and producing cards for everything from birth announcements to birthdays, for over 14 years. When she picked up running in 2008 and satisfied a lifelong dream of running the NYC Marathon, a whole new passion was ignited. During her training she found (and still finds) an enormous amount of humor and inspiration in running. It is with that thought, asphalt + me = peace was created! Our company shares these trials and triumphs with those who run, those who want to run, and those who support a runner. We hope that through these greeting cards, the joy and tears of running will spread far and wide. Let the fire be fed in current runners, and ignited in new runners.
